If you put in clothing defaults it will keep your clothing downloads smaller, too. le_plat_du_jour and dhearest make some of my favorites, but you can also check the sims2_defaults to look at what other creators have made. For Hair, I'd check dhearest again, and also Simgaroop.

For clothing, I mean..almost ALL of it is pretty maxis-match these days since I know very few players who photoskin; most handpaint all their creations now.
